EP. 153 // Rebranding The Awesome Ladies Project w/ Em Randall

Today on the show we have Em Randall – a painter, illustrator, and designer who works from a constantly messy desk in Traverse City, Michigan. Inspired by whimsical nostalgia + magical verity, her work often features strong women in a combination of both authentic and imaginative realities. When she’s not working on a new project, you can find Em in the kitchen trying out another biscuit recipe, or lounging on the couch with her husband & cat.

EP. 153 // Em Randall | Crafty Ass Female

SUMMARY //

Em Randall starts off by telling us her creative backstory, how she came from a long line of crafty ass females (as we all do), and how her “plush dolls” kickstarted her foray into small business. Em talks about the kind of art she makes, her process (with multiple clipboards), and where confidence plays a role for her as an artist.

Em discusses how she & Kristin connected and how she credits her community in Michigan for her success. Em + K talk about The Awesome Ladies Project NEW REBRAND (!!!) and how that amazing collaboration came to be!
