We couldn’t be more thrilled to bring back Crafty Ass Female and friend of the show, Kelly Purkey. Kelly is a designer and long-time scrapbooker living in Portland, Oregon. Over the past 15+ years she has had the opportunity to work for amazing companies in the industry before starting her own business. She feels so lucky to have turned a hobby into her career and the best part of the job is seeing products she has designed being used in people’s projects!

SUMMARY //

Kelly Purkey has returned & we loved hearing what she had to talk to us about! This episode begins with Kelly chatting with A + K about her rebrand to Paper Person Shop and how being a smaller business helps her turn out products in a shorter amount of time and helps her stay relevant.

Kelly discusses how 2020 and COVID and lockdown and quarantine (all of it) affected her and her travel lifestyle and speculate when in the future travel will be “normal” again.

The girls also discuss “showing up on public spaces”, some of Kelly’s future plans for Paper Person in 2021, and what’s it’s like to collaborate with talented designers.
